Now Playing: Man am I Pissed?
Topic: Plants are alive
I saw something today that really made me mad and pissed me off! I was out for a desert hike early this morning before the desert heat got going here in Moab and you all won't believe what I saw. Freaking motorcycle tracks, absolutely tearing up the cryptobiotic soil! It takes the desert environ hundreds of years to regenerate what it takes a brain dead humanoid seconds to destroy! Frederick, I'm all for tying these fools to your rose bowl parade float and dragging them along at 2 miles per hour until they see the light.

Stirring up trouble as usual
Mood:  mischievious
Those corn huskers are sure not happy with me. I sent my pitbulls out after those darn famers to keep them from picking the corn. And yes we still have farmers picking the corn. With a population of 63 we are not quite in the postition to afford all those fancy farm tools, so by hand it is. They were all able to get away without so much as a scratch, but next time they might not be too lucky.

Plant Rights Lawyer
Mood:  sharp
I have narrowed down my field of study in my environmental pre-law program to plants right lawyer. I feel that as a strict carnivore i abhor the thoughts of killing helpless plants of all types for completely unnecessary means. I am in the process of trying to establish a plants right group at my university. I will keep you all updated as to how that is going.

Rose Bowl Float
Applesavior, great to see you back for some more PLF action. As you might have known i have a fashion degree and am currently working on a all leather line of clothes. I would love to help you out with the fashion and designing of the float for the rose bowl parade (thats if they consider our float). It is such a wonderful idea to get our message out there for everyone to see how serious we take the PLF and how imporant protecting the plants are.

ps Love what has been done to the website (im so happy that is back up and running)!!!!

As a maple conglomerate, I abhor this organization. The plant is the most valuable resource on this earth. Without plants there maple syrup! Take that plant lovers need time you can eat your pancakes pain!

The children are learning so much
Mood:  happy
I love teaching to my children about the wonders of plants and their friends. I give all my english lessons a little added encouragement and wisdom talking about a different plant a week. This weeks plant is the le pomme de terre (the potato)

I have been a member since the beginning of the organization. I am glad to know that we are finally going public. I only cook and eat meat, especially red meat! I am about to slaughter a cow in the backyard for dinner, ummm, ummmm good!

wanted to let you all know that my laboratory work is showing promising signs of proving my hypothesis. latest work with heat shows clear evidence of electrical energy radiating away from the site of heat application!

The Rose Bowl Parade!
Mood:  celebratory
Topic: art
just wanted to let everyone know that our application for a float in the 2007 Rose Bowl parade has been submitted. our leather float will be an eloquent protest against the deluded mentality that grows flowers just to harvest them at the peak of their brillance. keep you fingers crossed that we get in!

jackie schneid, you are the moron. talk about unaware of the natural world around you. you should pay attention instead of mindlessly gobbling down plants and vegetables without a second thought. what gives you the right to say that animals are superior to plants? EAT A STEAK!

Topic: Jagdish Bose
I've believed for awhile that plants can feel pain and emotion and loss. Whenever I try to talk to people about this they get angry and act like I've gone troppo. But I know the vedgies are special. Thanks to your site I've discovered Jagdish Bose. I'm over the moon that a famous scientist like Bose had discovered what I always thought. Thank you!!!

Treat Plants with Respect!!!!
Mood:  on fire
Topic: rants
Just saw the new web page. Love the new layout! I
really like the art with the carrots shivering in
terror (all too true). As you know I'm in Yakima, WA
(a long way from you down in Miami). Yakima is the
self proclaimed "apple capital". They should call
themselves the "savagery capital" for their barbaric
plucking of the apples from the trees every year. The
apple trees and fruit are so beautiful that I shake
with anger when I think of the injusticies done to
them by the animals calling themselves "farmers"

Love those Bristlecone Pines!
Mood:  energetic
Topic: questions
I live close to where the oldest living
thing; the beautiful and majestic bristle cone pines
live. These hardy sentinels live even past 5,000
years of age and grow in inhospitable terrain over
9,000 feet in elevation. I consider these trees to be
sacred objects, after all Jesus is reputed to have
dies 2,006 years ago and the beautiful Methusalah tree
was already more than 3,000 years old at that time.

What about the desert's living soil?
Mood:  irritated
Topic: rants
Here in the Utah desert we have cryptobiotic soil,
composed of lichens, moss and cyanobacteria. This
forms a living crust or protective sheath for the
delicate desert soils. I'm outraged that off road jeeps and motorcycles are allowed to ride over the delicate
desert cryptobiotic soil, killing it and destroying
the desert.
