Peach JAMboree Protest Successful!
Mood:  surprised
Ok. I participated in a protest at the Stonewall Peach JAMboree and Rodeo in Fredricksburg, TX on June 16 and 17th. There were ten of us and we split into two groups to cover the JAMboree in shifts. It was hot! It went well for the most part. We were respectful and most of the event attendees were peaceful. We talked to a lot of people about our position on and the sorry state of Plant rights. We even managed to get some signatures on the Plant Bill of Rights! There were a few smart-alecks who thought it was funny to eat peach jam in front of us and some of us became very upset. It is hard not to resent those who have such malice in their hearts! Luckily we retained our composure and carried on with the protest. Overall, I think it all turned out rather well!
